What's Your Plan?
God has a perfect plan and purpose for your life—but that doesn't mean you shouldn't make plans. God doesn't want you to drift through this life, letting your circumstances determine your direction. God wants you to be intentional about the path that you choose. God says, 'I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future' (Jeremiah 29:11). If God makes plans, then we must make plans also. Personal planning helps us better align our lives with God's perfect will and plan.
Friends, daily planning is wise stewardship. Your life is a precious gift; what you do with it is your gift to the Kingdom here and now. Today's Proverb says, 'Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established.' We must plan and remain focused on our goals despite difficulties and distractions. We must boldly take hold of what we know to be God's will. As my dad used to say: 'Plan your work, and work your plan – If you're failing to plan, you're planning to fail.' Take steps today towards a better future by outlining your plan. Remember, prayer is not just a part of planning; it is the first and most essential part! So, pray, seek God's guidance daily and move forward at His pace with His grace!
