Seeking Wisdom and Insight
Who among us couldn’t use more Godly wisdom and insight? In two words: no one! Many find it challenging to understand how fearing the Lord leads to greater wisdom. First, it’s important to grasp what fearing the Lord truly means. It involves reverence for God, recognizing Him as the Holy One and sovereign ruler of heaven and earth. That acknowledgment and attitude sparks the beginning of wisdom. “Fear of the Lord” isn’t about being afraid of God; it’s about loving, serving, trusting, and revering Him!
Friends, when we surrender our will to God’s purpose rather than our own, we gain a deeper understanding of Him and His ways. The Holy Spirit then helps us see things from God’s perspective, providing discernment beyond human perception—guiding us to make decisions aligned with His will.  Godly wisdom and insight work together for our good and give us confidence in both good and difficult times. Those who refuse to fear the Lord miss out on true wisdom. Revering God helps us listen to His guidance, heed His warnings, and live life at His pace with His grace. So, revere the Lord and commit to a thirty-one-day wisdom journey through the book of Proverbs today.
