Equipping and Encouraging the Saints to Effectively Share and Model Our Faith at Work!
Your Workplace is The Final Frontier in The Mission Care Field

As Christians, it is our responsibility to show care and compassion to everyone around us, and the workplace might be our best opportunity. It’s not enough to know about compassion…we must live it out for the difference to be made, and the workplace is where it’s most needed. Living as a person of faith in a faithless world requires courage. As we worship God, work with integrity, love our neighbors, and cherish our families, we become billboards of God’s message. Jesus didn’t change the world through crowds of people; he did it one person at a time…and so must we. If you have compassion only for the crowds, you will never reach the individual who craves the fulfillment that only authentic care and compassion can bring. Businesses that have incorporated care and compassion into the workplace have seen increased productivity, higher quality, lower turnover, improved recruiting, and better safety records. When people feel valued as individuals and not just for their contributions to the company’s bottom line, things change. People today are craving a sense of belonging, a sense of purpose, and a work environment where they feel cared for and valued for who they are. When you move from what you have to what you can give, that’s where life-change happens! Living out Our Faith At Work is all about intentionally living out the Great Commission by sharing and caring for others on life's journey.

MODELING
 THE MINISTRY OF PRESENCE

The best way to help people who are hurting is to just show up. Say little or nothing. Do not try to explain everything. Explanations never heal a broken heart.
To exercise the ministry of presence, you do not have to have anything figured out. You can be inspiring in your silence, but you might err when speaking. You may have heard the anonymous quote, ‘I have often regretted my speech, but never my silence.’ “Being there” is not passive. It may look passive, but in fact, it is very active: active listening, active attention, active concern, and active prayer.

“Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep” (Romans 12:15).

“Let every man abide in the calling wherein he is
called and his work will be as sacred as the work of
the ministry. It is not what a man does that determines
whether his work is sacred or secular, it is why he does
it.”
