Shadow of the Almighty
Reflecting on 9/11, twenty-five years later. When our towers collapse, call a different 911 — call for God\'s help, as Psalm 91:1 so beautifully reminds us.

Reflecting on the events of this day twenty-five years ago, I still remember people asking me, "Where was God?" The short answer is…right where He's always been, reigning and ruling as the Most High.
Long before and after that day, there have been and always will be '911 moments' in our lives. Those unforeseen attacks on our health, wealth, or emotional stability. When those attacks occur, we often ask, 'Where are you, God?' The answer is always the same: 'I am here. Do not fear, I am with you; I am your God. I will strengthen and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand' (Isa. 41:10).
Friends, for most emergencies in this life, we know help is readily available by calling 911. But when the personal towers in our lives collapse, we are wise to first call on our heavenly 911 responder. Unfortunately, many will try to manage their crises alone, quickly forgetting that our God is always with us.
Never Forget! God's presence, protection, and peace are always available when we call upon Him. So, when our towers collapse, call a different 911 — call for God's help, as Psalm 91:1 so beautifully reminds us: our God is our refuge and strength.
Never Forget: "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty."
