Our Advent Love

God’s Advent Love!
No word may be more misunderstood or undervalued than “LOVE.” While we often associate love with feelings, it is so much more profound. Love embraces emotions, yet those emotions can be mismanaged. We may feel sentimental, but those desires fluctuate drastically. We know our feelings, emotions, and sentiments can shift in an instant. In contrast, “God’s Love,” which is unlimited and unconditional, remains steadfast. This is the kind of enduring love that should be reflected in our lives as His children. 
Friends, when we wonder how to embody “God’s Love,” we need only to look at Jesus’ life and reflect on God’s teachings. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” This unparalleled love, initiated by God and revealed through Jesus, should flow through us. “God’s Love” must be the cornerstone of our relationship with Him and with those around us. As we stand in the light of the final Advent candle, let us radiate “God’s Advent Love” into this dark world. Let us celebrate and share the true essence of God’s Love found in the Christ Child we celebrate this week. Love in Christ always!
