Faithfully Serving! 
As we honor our veterans today, let us take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to those who have courageously and selflessly served our nation to safeguard our freedoms. The reality is that we are all called to serve and protect our liberty each and every day. Unfortunately, many people today are focused solely on their own interests. This mindset arises from our sinful nature, which convinces us that prioritizing ourselves will lead to true happiness. However, as Christians, we are called to embrace a different way of living. Instead of always seeking our own comforts, we should strive to serve our Savior by faithfully serving others.
Friends, Jesus exemplifies what it means to serve selflessly. He came into the world not to be served but to serve with grace and humility. Whether He was healing the sick, washing the disciples’ feet, or sacrificing Himself on the cross, He showed us what genuine love and a servant’s heart look like. Serving others is about more than actions; it involves our hearts and attitudes centered on love and compassion. We must always remember Jesus served not out of obligation but with profound humility and love for all people. Serving one another as Jesus did begins and ends with love, respect, and honor. When we embrace His calling, we are used to help transform lives and bring hope to others.
