Are You Ready! 
What's the next big event on your planner? Are you eagerly awaiting it? Christ our King's return is the next big event on God's planner! Are you eagerly anticipating His return, or do you seldom think about it? Saint John warned us not to love the world or the things it contains because they are passing away (1 John 2:15-17). Our loving God wants us to be excited and eager about Christ Our King's return. God wants us to recognize it as the culmination of His perfect plan for the world. Jesus warns us in Matthew Chapters 24 and 25 to be ready!
The return of Christ our King is vital to God's redemptive plan for humanity. That is why this big event was foretold by prophets, proclaimed by angels, and taught by Jesus and the apostles. More Old Testament passages are devoted to Christ our King's second coming than His first. In the New Testament, Jesus mentions His return more than He speaks of His death. At His second coming, Jesus will defeat Satan's earthly reign and establish His Millennial Kingdom of peace and righteousness. All saints, known and unknown from all ages, will be gathered to reign with our King of Kings. "However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows (Matt. 24:36). Friends, we must be ready and live ready; it's on the planner!
