This dark world desperately needs more kind, compassionate, light-bearing people who can help uplift those who have been brought down by tragedy, darkness, and despair. 
Those who possess the light of Christ during life’s most challenging moments become a source of hope for others. Often, they have navigated their own darkness and discovered a divine source of strength, giving them the “been there before” credentials to help illuminate the dark paths for others. They have been refined in difficulty, preparing them to shine the light of Christ. God never wastes our pain; although difficult, it often serves to strengthen and grow our faith, ultimately allowing us to help illuminate His glory. Step into the light of Christ and let your light shine. Remember, the tragedy and darkness we face in life are temporary and insignificant compared to the eternal glory that awaits light-bearing believers.
