Conspiracy of Kindness
Are you harboring anger and bitterness in your heart? God’s words are clear; He calls us to be kind to one another. Kindness requires compassion and forgiveness. Understanding the joys and sorrows of others opens space for love to heal wounds. Holding grudges weighs us down and blocks the freedom that comes by extending forgiveness. By following God’s example, we break the chains of bitterness, enabling love's liberating power.
Friends, we encounter countless opportunities to minister small acts of kindness every day. A smile can brighten someone’s day, a listening ear can ease someone’s burden, and a word of encouragement can lift someone up. These simple little acts of kindness can transform hearts and foster relationships. Let us not forget we are called to love others as God loves us. His perfect love is unconditional, extravagant, and all-consuming. Today, let the words of this passage be our guiding light, reminding us to live out a conspiracy of kindness and forgiveness daily.
Onward and Upward+
Fr. Greg
