Shadow of the Almighty!
​​As I reflected on this day and its impact on my calling, I can still remember people asking where God was on this day. The short answer is, right where He has always been, reigning and ruling from Most High. The truth is, long before and since that infamous day, there have and always will be 911 moments in our lives. The towers of our health, wealth, and emotional stability can, and often do come under attack. When that occurs, we often ask God, where are you? The answer is always the same. I am here, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand (Isa. 41:10)."
For most of life emergencies, we know help is readily available by dialing 911. But there are also those times when our towers collapse and we need to seek our heavenly first responder. Sadly, many try to manage those events on their own. Often in a life crisis we forget our that God is with us. Friends, God's presence, protection, and provision are always available when we seek Him. So, the next time a tower collapses in your life, call a different 911, call for God's divine assistance and assurance in Psalm 91:1. In this reassuring Psalm, often referred to as the Soldier's Psalm, we are reminded that God is our refuge and strength. Never Forget, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty."
