Perfect Peace
Are the challenges in our world today stealing your peace? It seems stress and anxiety have become the new normal in our nonstop world. Whether it's work, relationships, politics, or a mix of many issues, it appears everyone is struggling under constant stress. Christians are not guaranteed a life free of stress and strife, nor are we promised smooth paths and calm waters. God does assure us that if we keep our minds focused on Him and His Word, we can find peace even in the most stressful seasons.
The prophet Isaiah, in his song of praise to the Lord, offers us a timeless and valuable promise today. This verse assures us that God will give His perfect peace when we trust Him, obey Him, and stay focused on Him. God’s perfect peace surpasses all human understanding! Friends, if you follow Isaiah's advice, you can experience perfect peace in this stressful world. So, ask the Holy Spirit to renew and refocus your attention on the Lord. In this second week of Advent, we are reminded that true peace is found in Jesus, our Prince of Peace. So, trust in the Lord, keep your eyes on Jesus, and let His perfect peace surround you!
