​Perfect Peace
What is robbing your life of peace today? Stress and anxiety have become the norm in our fast-paced world. Whether it's your work, relationships, politics, or any number of other things, it seems everyone is struggling with stress and duress. As Christians, we are not promised lives free of stress and worry, nor are we assured of smooth paths or calm waters. God does, however, assure us that if we keep our minds focused on Him and His Word, we can know perfect peace even amid the stress in our lives.
The prophet Isaiah, while praising God, said, “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, whose thoughts are fixed on You!” Friends, that is a priceless promise for believers! This verse promises that our God will provide His perfect peace if we trust, obey, and stay focused on Him. God’s perfect peace passes all understanding and exceeds all human wisdom and knowledge. By following Isaiah’s advice, you, too, can experience God’s peace. So, trust in the Lord, keep your eyes focused on Him, and allow His perfect peace to wash over your heart, mind, and soul!
