​Our Advent Peace
Finding peace during the busy holiday season often feels impossible. Work deadlines, events, and family gatherings can drain us of peace. We may seek solace in the brief moments before and after our next task, but many individuals spend their entire lives searching for true peace. Unfortunately, it cannot be found in a self-help book or achieved through simple steps. True peace can only be received as a gift from God.
Friends, instead of fleeting moments of tranquility, God offers us everlasting peace—shalom. Shalom is the Hebrew word for peace, representing a deep, spiritual sense of wholeness rather than worldly peace found in the brief pauses of our lives. Enduring peace is rooted in a relationship. During this second week of Advent, we are reminded that true peace is found in Jesus, our Prince of Peace. So, trust in the Lord, keep your eyes focused on Jesus, and allow His perfect peace to fill your heart, mind, and soul as you journey through Advent towards Christmas.
