Happy Veterans Day

Faithfully Serving!
As we commemorate our veterans today, let us pause to sincerely thank those who have bravely and selflessly defended our nation and its freedoms. In reality, each of us is called to serve and protect our liberty daily. Sadly, many focus solely on their own interests, a tendency rooted in our sinful nature that falsely suggests self-prioritization brings happiness. But as Christians, we are encouraged to live differently. Rather than pursuing personal comfort, we should aim to serve our Savior by helping others.
Friends, Jesus demonstrates the true meaning of selfless service. He entered the world not to be served but to serve others with grace and humility. Whether He was healing the sick, washing His disciples’ feet, or sacrificing Himself on the cross, He demonstrated true love and a servant’s heart. Serving others is about more than action; it reflects our hearts and attitudes rooted in love and compassion. We must remember that Jesus served out of sincere humility and love for all, not out of obligation. Following His example begins and ends with love, respect, and honor. When we faithfully accept His call, we can help transform lives and bring hope to others.
