Choose Wisely
Each new day brings countless choices in our lives. As God’s children, we are given two simple yet profound choices. They are the same choices God offered His children thousands of years ago. We are “given the choice between a blessing and a curse.” Daily, we can choose to be obedient or disobedient to God’s Word. This verse makes this sound like a simple choice, yet bad choices consume countless souls' peace, purpose, and blessings.    
Friends, we have the same fundamental choice at the dawn of each new day. We can live for ourselves and the passing pleasures of this world, or we can live for the blessing found in serving and glorifying God. Until one realizes that this life's true purpose and pleasures can only be fulfilled in serving the Lord, we will continue to seek people, places, and things that keep us in bondage to the curse. Each new day presents countless opportunities to serve God through serving others, so choose wisely! Joshua said, “for me and my house we will serve the Lord" (Jos. 24:15). Who are you serving today, is it time for you to do some spring house cleaning? We are blessed to bless others!
