Be All In!
Life, as we all know, is a journey filled with difficulties, detours, and delays. Even when God entrusts you with a mission, you can be confident that you'll face many challenges. These are not roadblocks but part of the journey, so we should expect them and be prepared for them. If anyone in scripture experienced this and had a right to be discouraged, it was Noah. He dedicated 120 years to his mission. Could you imagine working on a project for that long without a single word of encouragement from anyone? The key to 'All In' commitment lies in our unwavering faith and trust in the Lord.
I think we could all agree that Noah trusted God! When he heard God's warning about the future, Noah believed him even though there was no sign of rain or a flood. I'm sure there were days Noah didn't feel like going to work, but he never gave up and faithfully went about his mission. Friends, don't give up on your dream or your mission! Don't give up on your marriage! Don't give up on your health! Don't give up on that new position or job! Never give up! Remember, God is in control. Today's passage reveals that God seeks and blesses those committed to Him. So, trust in the Lord, commit to the mission, be 'All In,' and never give up! Remember, God's blessings are fulfilled in the fullness of time.
Onward and Upward+
Fr. Greg
